Received message from this number on 3/4/19.  Couldn’t make out entire message but “arrested” and “legal case” was mentioned.

This number called with no message. I called it back and the recording claimed to be Social Security. Likely a scam.

They called , and said that I had an arrest warrant out for me. Then asked me a question and told me to press 1 on my phone keypad that is when i hung up.

Said my ss number was suspended because of suspicious activity.   I'm calling bs on that.

Showed up on caller i.d as social security administration. Asked for my name and last four of my social....sounds suspicious..

They just called me and said my number was "suspended". I hung up and called the number back. It is a social security office in Texas but it was closed at the time they called me. Scammers have the technology to "hijack" a number for a call.

Call me and stated that my social security number was used for the illegal activity

On a recording it said my ss number was suspended because of suspicious activity. If I want to find  out  more information to press 1. That's when I hung up!!

I just received a call from this number. It literally showed up as Social Security Administration. I googled the number and it leads to an office in Texas. How has this business not been shut down or investigated??

How do you know it isn't being investigated? As for being shut down, when the scammers are overseas there nothing US authorities can do.

This number called yesterday, said my SSA card was suspended for 'suspicious activity" including money laundering.  Gave them a little info, got suspicious myself, and hung up. They never called back.

received a call today, 11/2/2020 saying it's social security and my number had suspicious activity; I asked for her number and she gave me 866-568-9428 I felt it was spam
