I guess this scammer is changing up his/her tactics. I received a robo message claiming that my Social Security number is being cancelled. Total scam.

Received call. Call ID just said "800 Service". Call went to VM which they didn't do. So go somewhere else. I am blocking number

I should not be on their list to begin with.

6/30/2020 calls from  866-580-5802  very Annoying!!  calls several times.   No message if left.  This comes up as 800  Service calling.

Yep, definitely a total scam. 1, the SS Administration doesn't initiate contact by phone but by US Mail. 2, your SS # can't be cancelled, suspended, removed, or any other nonsense these scammers will tell you. Just block and ignore such calls if you can.

Unknown call.  I blocked immediately because of caller ID

Another SPOOFED number for Card Member Services, AGAIN for the 200+ time.  To paraphrase the recording, ' this is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your credit card interest rate..'.  Just hang up, and do NOT press any keys.  As always, I track and report these SCAMMERS phishing for personal information.  Sadly, the government does NOTHING.

Same as all the other complaints. Thank goodness for caller ID and answering machine. I hope no one falls into the scammers trap. If I could I would built a trap for them with pointed stakes in the bottom.

"Hello. This call is from VISA and MasterCard Department on the behalf of credit bureau Experian. We are giving our honorable invaluable clients lower rates. Also we will guarantee to save you a minimum of $2,500 dollars in interest and finance charges. Please press 1 and feel free to speak with your own accounts manager so they can activate lower rates. Thank you."

Robo Spam

They've switched from lowering interest to full debt forgiveness. "Attention attention this is Sarah Chello with account holder services due to the tragic times we are offering all valued customers a full debt forgiveness this is your final notice press one to get your debt validated."
Now, assuming you have a lot of spare time on your hands, why not press one, then, don't say anything. It drives them crazy and keeps the on the phone for quite a while. My personal best to date is 2:23... If they're saying "hello, hello" to a silent line, it keeps them off the phone with other people. I have to laugh.

Same old BS credit card scam

Same thing, credit card services trying to lower my interest rates ... I actually don't have any credit cards, but i love to mess with these people and keep them on the line as long as I can so they can't make outgoing calls.  This time, I pressed 1, of course got an Indian speaking "John" (yeah right) on the line in a boiler room call center.  He asked how much debt I had, I told him it was around $100,000 on over 20 different credit cards, He abruptly hung up on me.   Guess they didn't like my answers LOL
