- OhioI cannot believe how many times daily these people call me and yet do not leave a message. It is so numerous it's become more than just an annoyance. It's really frightening...like they're stalking me, it's so frequent! This has been going on for months. Evidently it's Bank of America's sales department.I have no account with them and I certainly won't in the future!
- BUSTER| 1 replyThey were calling me for weeks with a caller ID of Bank of America but never left a message. The other nite I answered it,they said people in my town are getting Bank America recepts out of the trash and was insisting I get involved in a credit report thing.I said NO,he got PISSED,and I hung up.The next day I called my Bank Americard. They checked and said no one there has been calling me!They want me to call the fraud dept and give them this phone number, and I will. They said you can't believe the things that are going on out there! Also,I called that number last week and it would not go through.Good luck.
- LACAThis number calls repeatedly. They never leave a message. I finally answered and he asked for my husband, using his full name, which he never uses. I asked who it was and the caller replied, 'Bank of America'. I told him that I didn't care who he was or what he wanted and to stop calling here. Frankly, the guy sounded like a street thug and that he was calling from inside a prison as part of work-release. We'll see if the calls stop. I doubt they will

- Fauxtographer replies to BUSTERWatch your backs on this number.
It is associated with fraudulent, disceptive, deliberatly misleading and false solicitations.
Bank of America (BOA)called me from this number on the evening of April 7, 2009.
The caller lied and identified herself as part of the BOA fraud prevention department and proceeded to give instructions on how she was going to have credit reports sent to me from all three of the major consumer credit reporting agencies.
I was then to review them and notify BOA if there was anything unusual.
I thought this was a bit unusual as in the past when credit card companies
called regarding suspected fraud they typically address specific items in
question and verify the validity with the cardholder.
At the end of her long winded spiel she tried to gloss over that the reports were free "for the first 30 days" which I could cancel after that.
This immediately tipped me off that she was not contacting me about fraud on my card but using a backdoor method to solicite a subscription to their ID theft protection membership.
This is total crap and nonsense and needs to stop. I don't give a rat's a** how deep in S**t they are or how much they need the money.
I've been ethical, responsible, and frugal in managing my money and am NOT going to put up with this from an institution that should know better.
And I will end with a quote.....
“Bankers own the earth; take it away from them but leave them with the power to create credit; and, with a flick of a pen, they will create enough money to buy it back again... If you want to be slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, then let the bankers control money and control credit.”
- Sir Josiah Stamp, Director, Bank of England, 1940.
“The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses... This little coterie...runs our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...seizes...our executive officers...legislative bodies...schools... courts...newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.”
- John F. Hylan, Mayor of New York, Mayor, 1918-1925 - akchickI got a phone call from them at 7am this morning. Since I have a child still sleeping at that time, I promptly answered and hung up. I called the number back later in the day and it states it's BOA and stated they could call me back, or I could be placed on their no call list... so I put in my phone number. Hopefully they will stop calling me now.

- HaHaI've received at least 10 calls from them today, every 1/2 hour. It could be more but my que only goes to 10. Yesterday I blocked their number as I have VOIP phone service and it's humorous to see them waste their time.
- Caller: BofA?
- naCalled my boss' office on his conference phone. Number belonged to another employee at one time. They asked for the other person. The caller did not identify themself. I told the caller the peson they are looking for does not work here anymore and they said they would let them knkow.
- cathyKeep calling during the day and don't leave messages. I have a new phone number and they called it on the fourth day.
- JoyceI am receiving these calls often and would love to have a number to report this harrassment - always at meal times.
- AndreaI've been getting calls from this number at least twice a day for over a month. Sometimes the missed call log will show as many as 8 calls in one day. I tried to ignore it, but it was so persistent. A bit of googling showed the number belonged to Bank of America, and other people had complained.
Today, I finally picked up, so I could stop the calls, if I could. The gentleman told me he was calling "on behalf of BoA" and may not have been an actual BoA employee. He began by saying that nothing was wrong with my account, but that he would be sending me all three of my credit scores within the next few days for me to review any issues. I told him I was not interested, and to remove me from his list. He seemed confused, and I repeated that I did not want to receive the information. He pressed, and I told him I already subscribe to another service and I was not interested. He then said "Thank you" and abruptly hung up on me. I never got confirmation that I was removed from the list.- Caller: Bank of America
