Keeps calling my home.  I'm on the no call list.  They leave a message on my answering machine
pretending they are speaking directly with me.  This has gone on for months now.  Sometimes
when I'm home it will only ring twice and then they hang up.  They ask for me by my first name.
I believe they are a credit card processing company.  I also believe they got my unlisted number
from another credit card processing company.  I could sue for this!

"Toll Free Call" has called repeatedly.  We are on the no-call list.  Ask for us by first number.  never leave a message if we don't answer.

I got as call from this number and when I called it back, I get a message that says it is not in service.

Caller claims to have a special mortgage insurance from Wells Fargo Bank that only costs $40 a month to repair or replace any appliance or heating/air conditioning in your home. BEWARE!--If you call this number, be advised that the "Out of service" recording can be just that-a recording. Once you call that toll free number, they now have your phone number. Don't be surprised when you get a call within the next 24 hours with some bogus salesperson trying to get your bank information

This number calls my house several times a day and when we answer no one is there we say "hello" about 4 times before hanging up because there is no response back.

This is Wells Fargo. Just call the number back and you can be removed!! You people whine and complain, when you can simply just call the number back and remove yourself...sheesh!

I keep getting phone calls from 866-585-9908 and never leaves message of any kind.  Sometimes, it shows up as Wells Fargo, and I have no account with Wells Fargo.  My number is unlisted and also registered on do-not-call list.  What can I do to block this person from calling me?

I keep getting phone calls from 866-585-9908.  My caller ID shows "Not Provided."  My phone number is unlisted and also I'm registered on Do Not Call List for any unwanted phone calls from somebody I don't know.

Did you even READ the messages?  They DID call the number and it's NOT IN SERVICE?  Sheesh yourself!!!

SCREECH PROBABLY WORKS FOR THE SCAM.    

If the issue is the bogus recording to capture your phone number so they can call back from another number  - of course this person would say to call back..  Its part of the scam

They call every day, early in the morning until 9 at night. Never answer. Am on the Do Not Call List.

I wrote a complaint letter to the CEO of Wells Fargo over a month ago. Never got a reply and today I was called once more.

I answered the phone.  She claimed to be calling on behalf of Wells Fargo to sell insurance on home appliances.  I said I wasn't interested, and she kept going with her pitch.  I hung up after telling her three times I wasn't interested and didn't want to receive these calls.  I then called Wells Fargo (the number on my mortgage statement) and was told this was not being done on their behalf.  I called the first number back and got a recording saying it was Wells Fargo, and got into an endless loop when I tried to use their opt out.  I am repoting this to FCC.  I am already on record with Wells Fargo that I do not wish any solicitations because of my mortgage.

Why don't you do what I did!!!  I purchased a phone that has "Callblock".
It's great!  Phone rings onetime and then they are disconnected!!
