Comcast Digital Cable Chicago, IL

they have called several times in the past week and when i answer the call, no one is on the line.

Called me 4 times in a hour and a half, on a monday. I know i don't owe them money.

When I answered, there was message saying "There are important information about your account" and then the line dropped.

Every time I pick up, it's an automated message that disconnects halfway through the message.

If this is comcast digital cable as Paul says, I'm,  like flummoxed here. I have a Verizen cell phone.

I have had the same thing happen to me.  What is that about? Did you ever find out?

Right. It's like, self-evident that Comcast Digital Cable and verizen are somehow linked, but why?

Comcast calling to confirm my service appointment I scheduled to get my cable issue repaired.

this is a  comcast number....so i think this company needs to have  a phone to  show their name...and not a 1 800 number...this could be anyone calling..that is why so many people do not answer the phone...if they have a appointment with comcast..all of the money they have and they do not have phones that show who is calling...too me that is lazy and cheap...

Comcast - broadband and other services went down in our (Chicago) region and this is was a call to tell us that service was back up

it's annoying!  It has happened 3 times in 1 hour, and I do not have a Verizon cellphone, and I have not called for Comcast Service, and no one is on the line.  I'm not answering it anymore.

This was a call confirming my Comcast service appointment this afternoon.

Comcast calling to remind me that I have an upcoming appointment for installation

This call was from a Comcast representative in the Chicagoland area confirming an appointment to check our outside cable line tomorrow.  (We initiated the service call.)

They've been calling me asking for a "Carlos"................  I do have Comcast, but we've had it installed for years, have not requested any maintenance, and do not have anyone in our family named Carlos.

They called looking for Emanuel (Manny), and claimed to have his father on the line.  I'm not manny and asked what number they were trying to call they confirmed my number... Wierd

They called me 4 hours ago and I did not pick up.

I got a missed call from them just a few minutes ago.  I googled the number and Yelp says it's Comcast.  I'm not a customer and haven't been for years, so I'm assuming it's either a spam sales call or that they are trying to reach someone else and that they're still as goofed up as they used to be.

Received a call today at 3 P.M. I answered on the third ring. No one on the other end of the line. Yes, it is Comcast. I know the number all to well. And the reason why no one was on the other end of the line? Rather than perform repair, its just another stalling technique by Comcast to avoid sending out a technician. My advice is to google complaints on Comcast before you do business with them.
