came in at a number for turbo tax

today I received an email to call 866-602-4279 which told me there was possibly 2 tax accounts for me with turbotax online.  I did NOT call this number. I also went to the actual turbotax website- their correct phone number is 800-446-8848.  So--the email is a SCAM- do NOT call 866-602-4279.

Now...I did call turbotax at 800-446-8848 & had to talk to a computer that SAID it was connecting me with an advisor...but...the computer hung up on me- so basically, I did NOT get any help from turbotax  about this problem. There is a "Contact US" tab which I tried to send turbotax an email, but I only use gmail & turbo tax doesn't seem to have any email form set up on their website- at least not any that I could find.

So, I checked further on the turbotax website & it advises contacting the IRS to file a phishing report- I have doubts that this will do any good either.

My taxes were already done in February & I already have my refunds back...but...be aware.
