This number calls every day. After our recorder answers and we only hear the end of the message. It states something about getting $50 per visit. Never hear the whole message. Probably some sort of scam.

Message stated that they are an approved FDA drug and they are conducting a "pain management drug study" for people who have arthritis.  "If you have arthritis pain and would to be a part of our study group, please call 866-607-4434 to see if you qualify for the study. You could be paid up to $50 per visit."

Now they are conducting "pain management studies" with new FDA approved drugs for arthritis pain?  With all of the "pain management" businesses' in my local area that the DEA is closing down because of illegal practices, this seems suspicious.

I also get calls from this number everyday. Today I happened to be around to answer it, so when it got to the point where I could press "1" to speak to a representative, I did. The person I was transferred to spoke english! Wow. Anyway, when I told her that I was on the 'do not call' list and they have no right to constantly annoy me, she got nasty with me and told me that she needed my phone number to remove me. I told her that if she had managed to call me, she should be able to remove me. When she refused, I told her that I was going to call the police and the phone company. I also told her that I had written down her name. Then a couple hours later when they called again, I again pressed "1" and then I was transferred to a man. I told him that had they done any real research, they would know that as a female in my 20s, chances of my having arthritis is pretty slim. I also told him about my previous conversation and that according to my police department, I did not have to give him my phone number to be removed. He said he would remove me.
