unknown number I never pickup

Caller with a South Asian accent said that they were calling from Canada Postal Services and that they had a package to deliver. When I asked them what package they had, they hung up the call. I knew it was a scam because I get a lot of packages delivered to my house and "Canada Post" never calls to inform me that I have a package. They leave the package in my mailbox or they leave a note to pick up up at my local postal outlet. Canada Post does not have time to call people.

I got the same kind of call today, October 16, 2019 (twice). Supposedly there was a package for me from the United States. If people would just hang up when they have a suspicious call instead of giving in to their curiosity and keeping the caller on the line, maybe those scammers would go out of business.

Bunch of idiots thinking in going to pick up their calls  any business I deal with 800 numbers is programmed into my phone

Any random number shows up on my phone saying possible scam 🤣🤣🤣

This is really sad. I got a phone call from that number this morning and I let it go to the answering machine. I did my research and like you all say this is a scam. I called the number and again did research and this is the official number for Post Canada, but as of today they are using it. Please be careful. I did this follow up as I have been getting email saying that I have a parcel and needed to pay $2.99. After I talked to Post Canada this morning she confirmed every thing, It's a scam but it's their number! :(

I got 2 calls from this number this morning but luckily I was taking a shower ( but even if I wasn’t I wouldn’t pick up because I never pick up unknown number ) so I did some research because usually when a unknown number calls me they usually call only once so I was confused turns out it’s a scam even if it’s Canada Post number it was a scam

This sounds like the fake process server scam. They're spoofing the Canada Post phone number in hopes of convincing you their call is legitimate.

Received a call this morning on my cell phone.  Didn't recognize it and didn't pick up.  I do check these numbers on 800notes to confirm they're scams.  Until the next time, have a great weekend everyone (excluding scammers of course).
