they call people and say their looking to serive paper i think it a scam again

My ex husbands cousin got a call looking for me saying they were an investigator and I had them as a reference. They also used my last name that I haven't had in years. Scam I'm sure.

My father got a call from them - he is 81 years old.  They need to not do this to people.

Ya definitely a scam! Some guy name Brandon said they are serving me papers. I couldn't find any info on the company name he provided me to with. Last time I checked a process server, bounty hunter or  someone with authority of the law serves you. What a joke lol. I forwarded their information to my attorney. Harassment!

Called today for information regarding harrassing calls to my family and friends. They tell you, you have a pending civil suit and try and scare you. I asked for ext 110 brandon and the lady asked me my name and what this was regarding. I then asked her what her name is and the company she works for. She replied Stacey, you have reached timarie group???She then asked what the call was regarding and do I have a file or a control number? I told her no! She then said "brandon is in a meeting and that she would tranfer me to his assistant. The assistant than proceeded to tell me that she could not give me info about someone elses case without prior 3rd party approval from the person themselves. I'm here to tell you that these people have ripped off one of my family members. Once we reported the charges to our bank we got our money back and now there calling every family member and friends about the money they stole. This company is a scam and they try and collect on old debt thats out of statue of limitations. Check the laws in your state and do yourself a favor and run your credit report. Educate yourself! Don't be a victim of this scamming company. And for crying out loud DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO OR PERSONAL INFO!!!!!! TRUST ME, WE LEARNED THE HARD WAY!

My daughter has been getting these ridiculous calls from this PRIVATE phone number, everyday....  They leave a message with her brother who now has her old cell phone number.  They are some big bullies, threatening to take my daughter to court and that they are going to pursue action by court.  They have gone to the extent where my son who is 8yrs old crying and so scared.  I called the number they left on voice mail it was 1-866-611-0525 with a reference #, only to be told that they aren't going to discuss anything with me and that they will keep calling and leaving threatening messages and they will keep harassing my son's phone number until they speak to my daughter.... HELLO...... she isn't here anymore idiots..... if they would just give me information and if in fact she stayed owing money i would try to make it right, but they want to be acting like idiots and keep threatening my son......  UNBELIEVABLE!!!!  who are these people anyways????

They answer as Tinarie Group, corporate office, whatever that is.  Can't find anything on it.

They called my sister in law looking for me.  I called them back to ask what this was about and they said they were serving me papers unless I paid $1900 right then.  I told them not to contact my family any longer and they claimed they didn't.  It was very difficult getting even their company name from them and they claimed I was harassing them when I asked for statements about an apparent debt I owed.  They are supposedly serving me papers so I got in touch with an attorney just in case but it sounds like a scam.  Do not give personal information and get an attorney if you can.  Also I filed a harassment claim with the consumer bureau to have them investigated for fraud and illegal practices.  I also could find no information on this company.  I hope this helps.

Received a call @ work & a woman named Nancy stated  I had an "ongoing case" for unpaid $ 620.00 bill that is now $2000.00 & will become $5000.00 after they take me to court because I did not respond to my 45 day written notice. Being that I had been clearing my credit up & have been going thru alot with traumatic events I became very emotional so began to discuss how to resolve the issue with out court. She began asking me to verify my home & work #, etc & stated I would have to pay atleast $100.00 at that moment because their was already a server out coming to serve me court papers & after i received papers a deal would be too late. I was in tears as I told this woman i had not a penny but could pay in a few weeks , she ofcourse didn't care and said can I pay $50.00 as a promissory payment until I recieved my income taxes to pay the rest of the balance & again I explain my recent losses & that I didnt even have gas money to barely make it to work. As I felt helpless & distraught I hung up & my night was ruined & I was scared to go home thinking someone would be serving me court papers after I nust worked so hard to clean my credit with the little money I had. The next day I shared my concerns with my boss & other coworkers & they googled the name of the company & it showed us this page which game me much relief after praying to GOD the night before because my life already felt over whelming.Thank goodness I didnt have any money because I was falling for their scheme. These people will have some major Karma coming there way

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  DIME  until the debt is validated.

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.

If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

Beware and take care.  If they tried to scam you once, they or someone is sure to try you again.

Got a call similar to all the other and lost 200 dollars in payments before doing some research and realizing it was a scam.  Please don't fall for this like I did.

I thought the same thing they offered to mediate with me and I read this website and just ignored them.  That was back in February 2014 and I got served a few weeks ago and have a court date this month. So all you people on here saying this company is a scam should not be giving advise when you obviously do not know what your talking about. Thanks
