I have been getting calls from this number for about a week now. I finally got a message. apprently its a bill collector. But i have nothing due. Interesting.... I can only think its bank of america since they are the only people i do banking with

I just saw a post on another number stating to "leave Citicards and go to Bank of America!"  What a joke!  This number IS Citicards using the BoA as their own personal junkyard dog to collect debts!  I really don't understand what the connection between the two companies is, but it's becoming very annoying and making it so you can't trust anyone.  I thought it was all just one big scam to begin with, and then the BoA rep informed me that they would be handling my account.  When I learned that BoA was calling me in place of Citi, I began telling everyone I knew to stay away from Bank of America.  I don't know what their game is or who they think they're fooling... but it certainly isn't me.  I'm going straight to Citi to discuss my card problems, not you guys.

well u see citicards recently switched some of there accounts over to b of a and they just so happened to do it at the same time as i was filing bankruptcy on them but i got the new account number and gave it to my lawyer so they shouldnt be callin me i just dont answer the phone anymore i got a cell phone with a new number and all the important ppl call my cell but im with you and wondering if this is a scam

I'm getting a call from here, asking for a name NOT at this number. When I pressed the "0" option to talk to a person, they asked me for personal identity information "for security purposes" - but I was calling to report they were contacting the wrong number, I wasn't calling as a customer! Smelled like a scam to me.

yeah its Bank of America alright.
When you answer they wanna CONFIRM you identity, and talk about settling a debt.
