The company called Great News would like to offer plaques for a fee to folks who received awards.

They've called me 6 times in 2 days to sell me these plaques.  I've also received 6 e-mails, and I told them on the 1st call that I was not interested.  Also, I've been getting a higher volume of SPAM, and I suspect that they put my e-mail address into some system.

"Sean" called asking for CEO of Company. Said the call was in response to an article in The Register Herald. (No such publication here) When asked what he wanted, he said, "We are the company responsible for plaques such as this." When asked to clarify what he meant, he just wanted to be directed to the CEO again. Asked if there was a direct number he could be called back at. He said no, so I told him to remove us from their list.

Called three times in half hour to my private mobile phone.

Constant calls in the past week.

Called half a dozen times for a couple of days.  Didn't leave a message, so I finally picked up.  Said they would just send me the plaque to commemorate some award they saw we won.  I told them not interested - they said they wouldn't charge us unless we liked it - I told him to NOT waste his time.  Finally I said, "Do not make any plaque and do not send it and quit calling."  Haven't heard from them since.
Note:  when I finally picked up, there was a pause before person came on - suspect automated dialing system which would explain gibberish and no intelligible messages when I didn't answer.

They have called this government installation to speak with the person that gave them a business card. I told them in a 3 day span that this person was on leave and they kept calling and I told them that you've called here the past 3 days and I have told you she was on leave and the next time they called, they heard my voice and hung up. They don't know that we have caller ID.  I called the number back and they are title Great News a Plaque company.

They have called our office several times in the last few weeks. Ask for the CEO or her assistant, and of course, refuse to leave a message.  I have told the woman several times not to call back and her response is, "I'll call back," and she hangs up! I'm fed up with it, so I am going to report them to whomever will listen for harassing phone calls.

They called me the morning that a piece I wrote for a local weekly newspaper came out offering to send me a plaque with the article and publication masthead at no obligation. I have no idea how they got my work phone or where they got the publication from, since I haven't even seen it yet!

Calling an faxing constantly after a local news article about me

I was photographed by the local newpaper at a local work event, and since then this company has sent me countless emails, faxes and calls me non-stop. The article appeared almost two months ago and they are still stalking me.

Calling over and over today. Want me to buy a laminated, wood-mounted photo of my award to preserve for eternity. Am reporting to TX DNC list.

They keep calling me while I'm at work; never leave a message. I called back and asked them to stop calling and she said ok she'll place my name on the do not call list. Someone called back again from the same number. It's really upsetting me, please someone help.

She just called our office stating that my attorney had been recognized and was going to get this wall plaque.  The only cost would be $149.00.  She went on and on and I didn't know 1/2 of what she was saying.
