I just got a call from this number, I think it is a scammer. Left a message saying my Credit Union Bank Lost Prevention Center - Said I made a purchase at American Airlines. Asking me to call and verify my card. I DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT UNION ACCOUNT

just got the same message.

Scam American Airline fake charge; “We froze your account “

It is a fake scam call saying that there was an unknown charge to American Airlines and that they have frozen my account.

This is a scam number trying to pretend to be a bank and get identity information

Yep, we can see Faker is a good name for you in addition to David/anonymous/Kevin. Scambaiting with different names doesn't really make you different people. FYI next time spread out the phony calls to at least seem realistic, as we can see from the time stamp (view source) when you post. Scammers don't usually try pulling a refund scam with an airlines as the 'fake purchase' to a bunch of people that also just happened to come post about the supposed call here in under 2 hours.
Should have just stuck to what the recording on Rkiller's website said:

The kota shop is an online clothing store.

Same scam/pfishing call as others indicating card was used to make American Airlines purchase; an attempt to gain personal information.

Just received call from this number claiming American Air refused charge of 409.13. No ID of company calling or business. Did not ID my card #. Couldn’t call me my name.
There was a boiler room noise . Many miscreants trying to fool poor saps. I told him he’s in a boiler room , leave the job, and get his soul back.

Call supposedly from credit union which sounded credible because I had just made an Amazon purchase and used my debit card from my credit union

Seriously, I almost fell for this, I got the same message and I DID recently get tickets but the price was different, thank god for this post. It was $409 for me as well!!!

I got a similar call on Dec 15th about $409 charge to American Airlines..I googled the number and "Credit Union Bank"
