Person who calls says they work for Wells fargo Banks Corporation. Says he needs bank account info to keep unathorized transactions from occurring to my account. Refused to give him any info regarding my account.

i got the same thing and said i authorized them a year ago to take funds from my account to protect it and said 189.95 was due and i had signed a 2yr contract and that we would be turned over to collections and hung up i am in the procees of contacting my bank as this caller had my account number!!!!!! i will be getting a lawyer and calling the atourney general about this one

I Received a call saying that this person was from my bank and that my information was all over the internet and that they needed to do some work on my account to straighten it out. Called my bank, it was a scam to get me to give out more info. Pretty Scary.
