they call all the time.  my answer machine picks up & they don't leave a msg.

No message. I called back, "Ariel calling on behalf of AT&T"

This is AT&T Marketing.  
They recently installed fiber-optic in my area and they call nearly every day to offer me a deal.
(They can call because I currently have some ATT service so I am an existing customer and DNC does not apply.)
As I am moving away, they have agreed three times now to remove the number from their call list - but they keep calling.
It often takes a long time for a person to get on the line after you say 'hello', and if your voice mail picks up the call there is usually no message.
Annoying - but legitimate telemarketing.

Received a call this evening.  Caller ID shows "Toll Free Callle".  No message left.

Received calls 3 times in two days from the number in question.  I've never been home when 'they've' called.
I don't use an answering machine anymore - only caller ID.

One would think if it was AT&T calling, like some of said, they would identify themselves on caller ID and NOT use Toll Free Calle.

Now that I know who's calling I won't answer if I am home.  Thanks to those who posted the information above.

I am getting phone calls twice daily from AT&T which I feel is harassment.

Apparently, the second AT&T phone call I received on November 19, 2014 messed up my phone line...I could no longer receive incoming phone calls but I could call out. (My daughter called repeatedly and got a busy signal.) I called AT&T to report the problem. It took at least three calls to finish my complaint...their transferring my call to tech support got my call disconnected...the third time I called, I used my cellular phone.

While I was on my cellular phone scheduling service for "repair," I was told it would cost $85.00 if the problem was inside my house. During this phone conversation the AT&T female rep said my static problem would go away if I had their U-verse (spelling?) service. I told her I had another option and that was to change phone companies. Also, DURING this conversation...still on my cellular phone...the rep called my land phone number and it rang. After this conversation ended, I personally called my land phone from my cellular phone and I discovered her call to my land phone seemed to have cleared up the line. I could now receive incoming calls...my daughter called.

I had to call AT&T, again, to cancel the upcoming service that wasn't needed. Also, each time I called to report the problem, the reps mentioned other AT&T services.
How do I make these calls go away?

Received a call from this number on 1/29/2015 @8:30pm and  1/30/2015 @9:30am

I've given up on stopping any robo (automated) caller.
If ever a politician runs for office on the platform he'll do something about telemarketers I'll be voting for him.  < lol >

No name shows on caller id.

Received call at12:56pm, no conversation, just moving noise in background. Very annoying.

Received a call today from 866-616-2099. Listed as toll free number on called id. I picked it up, some lady was calling from att. I told her I was not interested and to take our number off her call list. Tonight same number called again, it was a man, again I said I told you to take my number off your call list earlier today. He told me he hadn't talked to me before. What are you kidding me! I told him the same number called me earlier today and I told her to take me off the call list, so I am asking again to do it. He said thank you for using AT&T. At t you are a pain!!!

ATT Uverse solication.

This number won't stop calling me! They're now calling about 3 to 4 times a day but I don't answer it. I get a lot of sales calls, but no number calls as much is this one.

Received call on 10/14 and again on 10/16.  No identifying name and no message.  Based on others here it appears this is AT&T solicitation.   Luckily my phone has call block built into it (doesn't rely on AT&T's call blocking) so I have now blocked this number.

866-616-2099 this # calls me 3 times a dad. Someone shut them down.
