this wasn't actually a call...it was a solicitation from the mail that said "call to receive your special parcel, new neighbor".

I received the same solicitation in the mail saying they had been unable to contact me by phone. It stated to call back within seven (7) days to receive my parcel with parcel number 1204-0126. I called the number and left two voicemails on two separate occasions!  Never received any calls back.  Does anyone know what this is all about?!?!!

I also received the same post card.  My wife spoke to this person, and she was never given a straight answer as to who, why, and how.  I have no idea what this is, if it's a malicious way to steal info, or just a typical strings-attached "offer".

    don't need it
Sounds like collection agencies using this dirty game
to locate, follow, verify, confirm and keep up with
where you are moving too. stalking tactics really. Creepy!
I wouldn't call to verify nothing, I would just return it
to sender and claim wrong address.

We do not steal info, if you are a new homeowner or refinance... your loan company sells your info, then any company can subscribe to the list of people who are mailed the postcards. Then when you call in responding to the parcel, Barbara then has a welcoming gift; a dinner gift card for two and a complimentary water analyses from your sink to give you the up to date info on TDS, PH balance, iron and chlorine content, we then leave you with brochures about water treatment equipment with no pressure to buy, just as future reference because most new homeowners or families are concerned about the water quality for drinking, skin problems or simply to preserving their plumbing and fixtures from water spots and mineral build up. I hope this sheds some light.

If we don't pay money to hide our info, then we are 'ok' with what happening? Receiving crap like this in the mail?

Hey, if you are the company that sent the card, apparently you have the address, why not just send the parcel and get it over with?

I am not going to give you any data, you didn't even put your name on the card.  If this doesn't look like a scam to you, then I don't know what else would.

I, too received a post card from Barbara with a parcel number on it. Thank goodness for good computer forensics and the abundancy of information on the Internet. Barbara if you are here, in these times, it would make sense to give more information if you are soliciting a product.

Don't you know we are in the age of Identity Theft?

If YOU are not hiding anything about you, or your company....Why no return address, or e-mail address?  Why is there no info about you on the postcard?
