they called my cell today .they claim to be laywers.i need to know who are these people

Yes.  They called me and left a voicemail stating I needed to call back stating they were lawyers of some kind.  They are scam artists who should be executed.  Do not call back as they are charging your phone when you do so and insulting you in the process.

I received a phone call from a number that simply said' incoming number'. I have caller id and it couldn't even detect where this call was coming from. I answered it any way. A woman on the phone stated she was representing a legal firm and told me i needed to call a Mr Soronto or sorento,something like that.There was a legal matter concerning me and i needed to contact him right away,So i did. This guy told me that I was about to be charged for fraud and bouncing a check from a payday loan i took out A few years ago.he went on about how i could go to jail and that someone would be out to serve me unless i paid the loan. I did have some payday loans i defaulted on few years ago,so i was willing to try to make arraignments,but he wanted money upfront and told me i needed to pay $1000 dollars. The original loan was only $100 dollars. He got nasty with me,when i told him i didn't have the money he told me to get ready to go to jail and that somebody would be out today to serve me with legal documents and to place me under arrest. This is the second call from this unknown female # and this Sorento person. I'm very upset about this. I really do want to resolve my payday loan problem,but not with THIS PERSON!!! I believe he and she are both scammers.

These people will be caught and deported.  That's a guarantee.  Filth like these tools from # 866-616-7517 are nothing but cowards who can't make it in the real world so they have to do things like this.

Received exact same call as Georgetta.  This is the second time I have been harassed by this type of scam, and yes, I do believe it is a scam.  The first time, however, the number on my caller id was the actual number to our county courthouse.  I was so scared, I almost paid it.  Luckily, I had a friend with me who said that they demand the money immediately so that you don't have time to investigate/further inquire.  I contacted the courthouse, and was told NOT to pay, that it is a scam, and that they utilize fake caller to appear they are from a regulatory agency such as the police department.  So, relax, and block the number(s) if you can.  Hope this helps!!
