Called my job and said they’d serve me to court from an address I had 6 years ago.

Had pretty much same call at my job yesterday re an account I had nine years ago. They answered and when I asked who they were they said no one makes outbound calls from the number. Then said someone named Billy called me. Had my birthday off by one digit. Had exact amount it would cost me in court costs if I choose that route. She did not know where I would be taken to court.

"Private number" left a threatening message along the same lines as previously reported. Lawsuit, attorney, blah blah.

Called and reported that I had a serious complaint against me and to call their client immediately to avoid any more court costs.  Wasn't even for me it was for a deceased family member who passed 10 years ago

Busy signal from my area code, but can get thru from NJ area code. Only want to talk to me.

I just had a phone call from this number:  866-616-9374 regarding a Nordstrom account that my ex opened up in 94.  Some lady answered and was very rude.  All she would tell me was that it was a past due debt from 94 and she would see me in court.  However, another number called me and said I want to verify your address so we can send out a process server to take you to court.  She never got that far and the 866 # hung up on me.  It's a ploy to get you to pay.  I am now disabled and unemployed.  Pretty sure this is a scam.

Keeps calling and saying their is a serious complaint against me from LA County --- asked me to call the 866 number...

Called my work, was told they was going to garnish my pay, when I laughed and told her I love in Texas and it wouldn't happen, she started screaming at me and then hung up

They valled my employer and stated they needed to serve me papers from a debt in 2007. The number that was on my phone was 202.851.6905. The message said to call 866.616.9374. When I asked for proof of debt the lady yelled at me and hung up.

They had my name and sounded like they are taking me to court. They will be sending me papers to sign for.

Same as above - said they had a subpoena and in order to avoid further action I had to call H & Associates at 866-616-9374 and they gave me a reference code to use. They used a name I haven't gone by in 40 yrs., but they had my current address which was of a concern to me.

Pretty much the same call. My wife took info and gave to me. When I called HA-Legal 866-616-9374, the person told me I had outstanding debt from Melvyn's a retail store chain located Texas to California which closed all it's doors in 2008. Further more, i have lived in Florida my whole life and never heard of a Mervyn's. I researched this number and found similar complaints. Should anyone else get a call from these scumbags please do not send them anything.

WAS a Washington number that called and said that it was for a formal complaint against me. And that they were sending papers to my place of work and or home.They used a name I haven't gone by in 12 yrs. They gave me the 866 616 9374 number of their "client."  This is a scam. Their are no outstanding debt in my old name. Please please do not give any of your info to these people. They called me last year same numbers, it they were actually going to send papers you'd think they would have shown up after a year. It's a scam

Similar to other reports, they called my place of business and said they needed to serve legal papers on me.  I've been waiting a week, and no process server has shown up yet.  Figured I'd type the contact number into the search bar before I reached out to them to see what's up, and was pleasantly surprised to find that I'm not the only one.

Same ad the above ..I asked what their company  did they said it depends and asked for the number that sent me there..Gave them the number still didn't answer the question on what they did..so I told them  I wouldn't waste  mine time or their and I would have the police look into this ...btw he was eating while he was talking to ..LOL. I can't..

Had a phone from same number 866-616-9374. Had me going. They never said name of company and it was for a credit card I had a couple years ago. I know I only owed 70.00 but they are telling me it is over 1375.00. and they want 12 months of payments or I’m going to court

Scam! Real process servers don't call in advance and they don't give you the option to pay your way out of being served which is what these scammers will tell you if you call them back. Block and ignore such calls.

Harassing phone calls that are not relevant to me.
