This is a scam to steal you identity. When I called the number they wanted a lot of info including SSN. Please google the Nevada Attorney General and down load the complaint form and mail  it in right away. If enough people will do it maybe it will shut them down. They said I had to fill out an online form to enroll in there services-and said they had called to authorize.

I just got the same exact charge on my check card.  I called my bank and got another number: 1.800.595.5110.  I called that number and it was from Global Gold Credit, which is one of I don't know how many credit line companies.  I did use the Global Gold Credit free trial and cancelled it about 3 days ago.  The customer rep told me that the only charge was from that same day - when I cancelled.  I kept asking why I was charged and she just repeated the same thing - the only charge was from the same day.  I told her that it was a free trial and I cancelled before the trial was over.  She got tired of arguing with me and said that since is was on the same day as the cancellation, she would refund my money.  I just did that about 10 mins ago...we'll see what happens.

The moral of the story is don't try any type of credit line, free credit report, etc...most of them are linked together and they will give you the run arounds.  This the customer rep I spoke to didn't even tell me which business I was charged from - even though she had it in front of her.  I asked if it was from Global Gold Credit...that's when she got upset.

This sucks and these people should be ashamed of themselves.

I noticed on my debit card statement through the Social Security Administration that I too have been charged the $39.95. I called that number and they asked me if I signed up for a $7500 line of credit and I told them no I didn't. The customer rep I spoke with said that my "account" will be canceled and I will not receive any further charges and that their corporate office would call me in 2-3 business days to follow up. They tried to pin it on me that I signed up for this line of credit or someone in my household signed up on my behalf which is ludicrous. I just received an email confirmation that I will receive a refund of $30 in 3-10 business days and this email was from First World Platinum. This fraudulent ordeal still ticks me off big time!!! I wish anyone and everyone else good luck in getting this crap resolved.
