Ellis & Associates called and left me a voicemail about a civil suit in Travis County. They stated in the voicemail, I got a certified letter regarding this, absolutely not true!
This is not the first time I got a call like this. So I just ignored it, then they called my sister in law and left an even more detailed voicemail. This is new! Now they are calling family! This is ridiculous! I have to contact all my immediate family not to answer these calls.
Its the holidays people!

i just got a call from the same number- they called my cousin and told him the same thing about me!

said i had a legal case, needed to pay 645.92 before it got filed at courthouse.

I received a voicemail saying they needed my husband, his name... and said a civil complaint is about to be filed against him gave a case number and said to call back 1-866-629-6220. We have no idea what that’s about so not calling back! Also stated they were Ellis and associates.

Just received same call and am suppose to call this number 866 629 6220 with case FL116892, So if not filed yet how is it that it's already been assigned a case number, Why is their number showing up as restricted, etc, etc, It's bull crap on the low end of scams

I received a call from 866-629-6220 regarding a civil suit filed for my daughter gave the case number and told to call immediately, she received a call about her sister and her husband rec'd the same call. Call was an "unknown caller ID" from Alice and Assoc., caller name is Cynthia

Received same vm from unknown caller female return number 1-866-629-6220 in regards to members in my family.. they used my name this time was calling for someonelse before.. I have been receiving calls from them for the past 2 yrs!!!!!

I just received the same call about a civil suit contacted my attorney and found out they are a scam and if they contact you or family member again you tell them do not call me again i know this is a scam and simply hang up, do not give any personal info as i did and now have to fill out a identity theft report to prevent this from happening again. everyone please becareful with these companies

Ellis and associates Called my house with no phone number ID and we hung up on them after they made their inquiry. Then they called my wifes phone and left a message saying she had a pending civil court case TN114521. So we called them back and "Chris Reed" said we had a creditor filing a case against us. At that point I called him a scammer and said never to contact us again. He said he was going to do this the right way and file the case. LOL!!! This is the number

I got a call, and did call back the number they gave me - which then told me they'd tried to deliver documents about this debt by mail and by messenger (a lie, I'm always home), and if I insisted on the documents being delivered at home, it would be by a sheriff. To top it off, they're trying to collect on over $2,100 in interest and fees on a $200 credit card debt run up over 20 years ago, when someone stole my card. Illegal debt collections, trying to avoid the legalities by using scare tactics and your personal information.
