I received a call from a private number, on my cell, I would not answer their questions and hung up.  They called back one minute later (private number) and left a vague message about a complaint they received and if I don't respond they will need to take action against me.  Then left this 886 629 8044 for me to call and a file number to reference.  I am certain this is a scam.

I got a phone call from a restricted number. The woman said she had tried to contact me on this and other phone lines. Wanted me to call a firm and gave the phone number to that,as well as a case number for reference.
Then she said,consider this your 24 hour notice.
Not one time was a business name spoken. This seems wrong.    Very wrong!

I received a private call this morning and said to call this ‭1 (866) 629-8044‬ number and they gave me a reference number and I called the lady said that it was a 24 hour notice. I am concerned since they had A lot of my information.

Sure seems like a scam.  This number called twice.  Second time they left a message  saying the same as everyone else.  Only thing different is they were calling for my ex from like 30 years ago.  WTF?
The callers name was Carly Brack or Brock.

Had someone call me earlier in the day saying they were Steve Collins calling from “National Processing Centers” (from a different number out of California). He kept asking if it was Melissa but i replied to each of his questions with a question (why are you calling my number?). He would bot answer why and when i asked what National Processing Center was , he hung up on me. Less than an hour later I had a missed call from this 866 number. When I called back, it sounded like the same guy from earlier answered and he said “Kevin Williams Law Office” when he picked up. Then I immediately got messages from my sister saying that a Steve Collins had left her voicemails saying that I am being sued for a civil complaint.
Clearly they are just trying every possible number to find me and I really think that if i was being sued, i would have received some sort of paperwork, not a phone call.
I am hoping they don’t call to bother my mother next!
This is infuriating, how can i stop them from harassing me!

Definitely a scam! If it was important you’d get something in the mail, not a call.
