Caller identified herself as Terry Smith from GPS Corp and wanted to talk with the owner regarding new international accounts.  When I asked "is there anything I can help you with" she responded "no and that she had to speak to the owner".  I asked a few questions regarding the nature of her call and received vague responses.  We ended the conversation with her leaving the phone number and extension of her boss, Phil Thomas - National Director,  866-629-9996 x54041.

Odd because I just got the same call from Terry Smith and indicated that the extension she gave you (x54041) was for her extension and not Phillip Thomas.

Just got a call from GPS. They actually did research on my comapny and are getting good at being technical. She couldn't keep up though. The funny thing is, they tried to pull this scam on me last year. Stay away from them, they will scam you into paying bogus invoices.

Got a call this morning asking for the owner.  When I called back of course the person whose name was given was conveniently busy.  I tried asking the lady who answered the phone who they were and all she would say was that they offer full services to business.  When I pressed her for further information she got upset with me and told me to stop yelling.  I asked her to please have my number removed from their calling list and she said I don't handle that.  Was passed over to someone else and asked to have our number removed from their calling list.  Hope it works.  They need to be stopped.

I got a call from GPD, Terry Smith asking for our person by name.  Very vague in the purpose of the call.  I wish these people would stop wasting my time and interrupting while I'm in the middle of something. Same extension 54041.  Do these people really think we are stupid?

Do NOT give them info!   Got the same call.   Terry Smith calling for Phillip Thomas.   She gave the callback number 866-629-9996.   She gave an extension to reach him.  I assume the extension is an i.d. for the company they called.  
Was very vague, first talking about business opportunities. Then said, not sure if they have opportunities and that would be for Phillip Thomas to determine.  
My caller id stated SMS 510-722-9078.  
When I logged the 866 phone number into Google...International Profit Assoc. also popped up.  

BEWARE!

Received call from Terry Smith asking to speak with our owner by name.  I asked what it was regarding and her response was that it was between Phillip Thomas and our owner.  I pressed for more info and she obviously researched and said we may be completing an install with them if they could work out the details.  SCAM do not fall for it.

I received a voice message from Terry Smith indicating that she had previously worked with my deceased partner and wanted to continue a working relationship with our firm going forward even though she had not had any contact with our company in the past 3 to 4 years. Looked up the phone number on line and came across this site.  Very helpful!
