I received a call from these people telling me that they were collecting on my old AT&T account.  The call came in on the same 202 number above.  Angie" gave me her "direct line" at 888-253-7486 and said they were about to garnish my wages and that it was an urgent matter and they wanted to give me the opportunity to work this out.  At the same time I was receiving this call, my 14 year old daughter received a call from Mr. Luck.  She couldn't get to the phone in time to answer it but she saw it was a local number so she called it back without checking the voicemail.  Mr. Luck answered and became very aggressive with my daughter, telling her that I had to call him back and it was an urgent matter concerning my social security number.  He then told her to "out your Mother on the phone" to which she replied "I'm walking home from school!"  I had literally just hung up with Angie when she came in the door telling me about the call.  I listened to a very aggressive and urgent voicemail from Mr. Luck.  I contacted AT&T and they have never heard of this company nor do they have any record of my ever having an account with them.  My concern is this...Angie wanted to verify the last four digits of my social and SHE HAD THEM RIGHT!  I have AT&T forwarding me a letter stating that I have never had an account with them and so forth and the AT&T fraud department suggested I contact my local police department and give them the numbers that I received calls from.  I am calling them right now...this is ridiculous!

I got a call from 469-342-3554, that was a recorded message from Mr. Luck saying it was of vital importance that I return their call at the 866-636-0534. WTH?

With your state attorney general as well as the attorney general in the state they are located.
Check with your state to see if they are even licensed to do business there - if not they are breaking laws calling you at all.

Got a call from Mr. Luck from 779-221-8083 (a local number), told me to call him back at: 866-636-0534
Said my number was "attached to a matter, in his office"

A Mr. Ruck called me from a local cell phone number. I did not recognize the number as one that I knew so I did not answer my cell. A Mr. Ruck said he had this number for a contact number regarding a matter in his office. Never said what office, what matter or use my name. I did not call back.

Message from 208-297-7554, Mr Luck regarding a very important matter in our office. Please return this call immediately. Gave a call back, 866-636-0534. I know for a fact my credit is clean because I just spent the last 8 years with a law firm cleaning it up and paying off all the collections I still had on my report. I just bought a car too and my credit score was 756. So I dont know who they want but it aint me. Screw em!

Got a call from this number 210-239-0052 but the msg said to call 866-636-0534. I answered and I still got a message. I hung up. Oh well.

I got a call from this number all they said was this was a contact number they did not give the name of thier company or the name of the person they wanted to talk to. Just said there was important information on their desk that needed discussed and to call them back.not calling until they say who and what they want

recieved same type of message as above..Caller ID on cell shows local number but voicemail wants call back to 866-636-0534.  Message states they received this number as a contact in regards to a very important matter in their office, never states who they are wantiing to talk to but to call Mr. Griffin.  Beware!

I too received a phone call today from a local number 505-206-5 something something. It was from Mr. Luck stating that "this was a contact number listed in an important manner regarding his office, it is important that i call them back as soon as possible @ 1-866-636-0534.obviously an automated machine. Didn't ask to speak with me, just my number. Sounds pretty fraudulent to me.

Mr. Griffen Called said it was extremly urgent. I called back because it seemed important and they asked for my boyfriend i told him he wasnt around and asked what it was concerning and they said they couldnt tell me. I told them i wouldnt relay the message unless they told me what it was concerning. She got extremly rude told me it would be all my fault when he gets in trouble and that she would tell him he was in trouble because i didnt want to relay a message! she was a bit*ch

Yep I got a call today from a Mr. Griffin... after reading this I'm not planning on calling back!  He said my number was listed as "a contact number for his office" I had no idea what this was referring to.  I'm glad I googled it and found this page!!

Do NOT answer your phones if you do not recognize the number. Let it go to voice mail as I'm certain they will leave one if they think it is important enough to them.
I certainly hope no one is actually giving out their SS number to any of these callers no matter what their story line is!!  
Remember they all have NUMEROUS outgoing phone numbers/area codes hopefully trying to trick you into answering.  Again, do not answer any number you are not familiar with as it will save you a lot of headache in the long run.

These are more than likely 3rd party collectors who do not have the proper paperwork legally necessary to force you into anything other than harassing you.

I got a similar phone call But the number was 904-416-1304.....I didnt answer I dont answer numbers I dont know it its important they will leave a message.....He left a message but it was only a partial message saying it was vital I get a hold of him leaving the toll free number above....I started looking into it and found the same thing as the rest of these guys.....I get these calls all the time and alot of times its not even for me.....It for someone esle......the call was made from jacksonville Fl.........Dude sound like a cop or something he sound mean........

Same here....important matter..call ASAP.  Debt collectors.

keep getting this call from same number as above and calls on all my cell phone numbersand home phone 3- 5times a day and numbers are all different when calling but always leaves the 866-636-0534 to return his calls.does not leave any message except this is an important call call back @ 866.This company is very annoying for making so many calls a day.like every 2 hours these calls come in from different numbers.

Received calls from a local number repeatedly 859-309-8626 and 859-519-3279.  I have no outstanding debts. Msg is to return call to 866-636-0534/Mr Griffin.  No name or other info.
