Just got a call from a person claiming to be a Wells Fargo rep to talk over my investment portfolio
with a number 1-866-636-8339 ext.xxxxxxxxx I have no clue what this is about .must be a case of mistaken identity I've been dead for almost seven years.

Due to soooo may unwanted calls, phone is disconnected from answering machine.  Thus, phone rings 15 times, then has audible "beep".  Well, when the caller heard the beep, they hung up.  Sounds as if really important call to me.  Yes, 15 times the phone did ring.  . Adjusted the computer should be.

Got a call from a person claiming to be a Wells Fargo rep to talk over what has to be done with my Fathers Estate accounts after his passing. This is a scam with inside information from WellFargo. How else would they know I'm the Executor. I then read about a data breach of troves of information by WellsFargo dated Jul 21, 2017.

SPAM!!! He said he was from Wells Fargo Advisors and wanted to talk to me about my investment account. I am a Wells Fargo employee so I looked up his name and his phone number with the extension he left and neither came up with any results. The number (408) 337-8318 is also related to this spammer.

Hung up after three rings; did not leave VM.  Origin: unknown.  WOW--SCARY notes from previous recipients!

Called my work with personal information about one of my co-workers.

That's odd since I got two pieces of authentic snail-mail from Wells Fargo on the Investment Account and with the 866 636 8339 phone number in it and other evidence that the snail mail is authentic. So although the calls could be scams the phone number would seem to be authentic. And if dialed by you after clearing down any incoming call from it you should be connected to Wells Fargo.

My only complaint is the frequency of their attempts to reach me which are intrusive but since blocked are only a single ring -- if they emailed me I might respond!

Wells Fargo has a record of me receiving a call from this number and said it was a legit call from from a Wells Fargo account advisor.

To all who have received this call number regarding financial advisor and investment straregies. They are official number from Wells Fargo bank investment team. You can look it up on the web to confirm the rep who called. This is not a Spam number. True that they may have mistakenly called your number but they called me by full name correctly.

Wells Fargo? Maybe. I am not sure. They left a message for me to call. But if I want to discuss my retirement account, I will call the bank. Why would the bank call me?

Just got a message from this number, also claiming to be from Wells Fargo, wanting to discuss investment portfolio. He also addressed me as "Maggie", which I certainly am not. I don't have and have never had any dealings whatsoever with Wells Fargo. I assume this is a scam. Beware and DO NOT give any information should you  talk to a live person.

I have gotten a call from this number plus email from "Wells Fargo."  I happen to have an account with Wells Fargo but my financial advisor took money out of my account without permission and tried to harass me into filling out and signing forms that were already in my portfolio.  Called me a couple of days later to rail and rage at me because I didn't do what he wanted me to do.  Wells Fargo calls beware.  Crazy folks.

Cold called me about improving my finances re my account. Would not give me info about what account. He got name and phone number from me and wanted the security code sent to my phone for verification. I refused. "But the code is from Wells Fargo, you're just giving it back to me for verification " I don't know this guy, and he wouldn't tell me anything about my accounts, which he would know if he worked for Wells Fargo. I told him I'd call him back.

Anytime that you get a code like that it should come with a warning that tells you that they will never ask for that code number.  If you would have given it to him you would have found out that your password had been changed and you would have had a 0 balance in all your accounts.
