I just got a call from them too. dont know who they are.. missed call on my cell.

This is a call from a telemarketer.  They call on behalf of a charity and if you've donated to this particular charity (not sure which one) you are on their call list.

they say they are calling fromm the Heart & Stroke Lottery

just got a call from same number as above and yes these calls are really annoying!!! I don't answer the phone anymore if I don't recognize the number, I just let the machine pick up if they don't leave a message you know it wasn't important

Just got a call from this number, but since I didn't recognize it, didn't answer and no message left.

Hung up without leaving a message which means I add the number to my call screen service and will never hear from them again. Goodbye for good, whoever you were.

Just got a call from this number, i said "hello", some guy said "go [***] yourself" and hung up.

got call from this number this morning and had one early in the summer.  Didn't answer either time as don't recognize the number.  Probably some telemarketer from the States, as I"m on no call list here in Canada.

Charities are exempt from the DO NOT CALL LAWS, so YES LEGITIMATE CHARITIES CAN CALL.

You have to tell them for each individual charty they may call on

DO NOT DONATE OVER THE PHONE - TOO MANY SCAMMERS OUT THERE - ITS NO LONGER SAFE TO DO SO

3RD PARTY TELEMARKETERS - keep 85-90% of all donations they generate - if you wish to donate to that charity - contact them directly to donate - not to the caller and tell them to STOP using telemarketers.

I get calls from them.  They are MiraTel Solutions located on 2501 Steeles Ave. W. in North York, ON  M3J 2P1.  They are a telemarketing company and they DO NOT have BBB Accreditation.

CALL FROM 866 647 2835. DID NOT ANSWER AND NO MESSAGE ON ANSWERING SYSTEM. I AM ON NO CALL LIST. THEY ARE WASTING THERE TIME.

I bought tickets from the the Heart & Stoke lottery.  If this is the reward for supporting them, this is the last time they will get a nickel from me!!!

they dont want your credit card..they are calling to remind u of a deadline...I buy tkts all the time...if u want to buy a tkt, then u can..they will also provide you with payment info.. like online, mail in, fax, kiosk etc. I haven't had a problem with them

I continue to receive calls from 866 647 2835,  There is never anyone on the line, or perhaps I do not wait long enough for the telemarketer to pick up.  I am on the "no call" list and do not with these calls.  Please assist.  Thank-you.

Thunder Bay, Ont.  recvd call from this # also.....was on call display.  Will not answer if another one comes in.  For extra $10/month you can rid yrself of these nuisance calls GADS $10 Shaw wants - forget it!!!
