    gullible dad
Look up Dream Scholars Foundation. It is a scam to get you to buy college prep materials.  The are bogus--don't give them your credit card number or you'll be charged $165 (twice in our case) and then monthy after that--have to close you account to get it to stop.  Even though you "have 30 days to try it" you can never reach anyone to cancel--only voice mail.

Same thing here.  No one ever answers the Donor Services line.  My guess is I am out the money.  Hopefully I can stop/reverse the charges.  What was I thinking????

This happened to us in Rockford, MI as well.  Dream Scholars Foundation called me on Sept 11, 2009. THey asked me if he was still college bound.  They said my son requested info at school, they identified the school and when he signed up for info.  I wanted to check it out first on line and they discouraged me stating it would be $50 more.  Many times I've ordered things and have had luck returning them so I agreed to give out my credit card number.  I cancelled my credit card today after reading these emails.  So far they have not charged my credit card and it is three weeks later.  I will keep the DVD's afterall and not pay for it.

No, it is a legit college-prep software and scholarship resource organization.

I purchased the DVD's and they are very appealing for kids, including my son. He likes them and continues to use the math/english disks as well as the testing disks. So it worked out for me.

    Scammed
My husband ordered the dvd's, but we decided not to keep them - $175 is ridiculous! So he then also called (after many attempts)and got a return authorization number from David Johnson.  I mailed the package in early January, and also set up a "Track and Confirm" with the United States Postal Service.  USPS records indicate it was delivered to their San Diego, CA location. Here it is Feb 17 and the credit still doesn't show up on my credit account. How can it take more than 30 days to just put it back on our account? This company is BS and I am going to have my credit card company intervene on our behalf. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB website shows this company has 85 complaints and are rated "F" with them.  Don't be scammed like us.
