Suspicion of your social security numbers odd behavior in texas, of course, i do not do business in texas when i live on the east coast more to the lake erie waters.  These people will tell you your ss#'s are placed as unusable until i call this number back and court proceedings will start as soon as possible against me, in my 51 yrs of age i never left my home town let alone afford any vacations.  Of course, no name of business let alone it was a total recording leaving the messages.  The number they leave is..:  1-866-547-7384

Attempted legal scam, claiming legal issues in the state of Texas (where I've never been, LOL).

Automated message that my social security number was used suspiciously in Texas and if I do not return call, legal action will ensue.

Said something about legal procedures and to call the number back. Scam.

Same thing as what happened to other...my social security had fraudulent activity in Texas.

"social security number is going to be suspended due to illegal activity in TEXAS, call us to resolve, blah blah blah".  BS.

Said they were placing my SS # on hold due to suspicious activity - except you can't put a SS # on hold so nice try.  I feel bad for whoever falls for this and actually gives them their SS # and personal info.  This is the second time in 2 weeks that they called.

Same as other posts. Automated message claiming to be with the Social Security Administration and said place hold on my SS number due to unusual activity in Texas and telling me to call them back. I blocked the number.

SSA fraud

Person called. He has an accent, but said his name was John Green. He got upset when I wouldn’t confirm any information

Received a call 10:06 am in Michigan claiming to be SS office and I committed fraudulent acts with my SS number

Scam reporting ssn to be suspended and legal action.

A recorded message saying that my social security will be suspended due to criminal and fraudulent activity in the state of Texas. I have never been in Texas and not sure why they called. I was told to call back this number 866-647-7384. I didn't call them. Happend today 5/17/19 @ 1:26 pm  eastern time

Received a call from 866-647-7383  saying suspicious activity with my social security card in Texas and that my social security card will be suspended hahaha hahaha nice try

The recording said that my SS#, did not say whose at this telephone, has been suspended for fraudulent use in Texas, and that I should contact the number before court proceedings begin.  I presume they would like to scam people into giving their SS# so that they could be used fraudulently.
