Fake Microsoft Security Alert popup on my computer asking to call this number. They claim to be with Microsoft but are really just a bunch of degenerate scammers trying to gain remote access to your computer and then will download some malware and charge you to get it removed!! Don't be fooled! Just shut down your computer for a couple of minutes and reboot. It should disappear. These a$$holes need to get a real job and some morals!

This number popped up on my screen saying I had a virus. I ignored it and shut down my computer. Don't call this number as it's a scam. Also a man called the very next day claiming to be from Microsoft and used a different number.Don't give any info as it was also a scam. Microsoft will not contact you. The number that appeared on my screen was 1 866 649 5578 and the number that they called me from was 1 844 230 7111

I have had this same scenario on my computer twice this week.  I shut down both times for a few minutes, ran my own virus scan & of course it was a scam.

The same thing just happened to me, the message appeared on my computer saying I had a virus.
I called the number, the guy said he was from Microsoft and I need to buy a security system in CVS for my computer.
The number was 844-230-7111

Got the saxme alert!!!

I don't  care what ever you guys say. They helped me alot. I think they are microsoft for real
