Repeated phone calls/texts/voice mails threatening legal action.

Same thing for me and my husband starting this week

3rd party, (although they say they're a legal dept) old debt collector.  They have trolled through 15 yr old debt which was included in bankruptcy.  They would like a 2000 settlement on an alleged 10 k debt. Problem is I never had debt with Washington mutual.

Have gotten several texts from this number all in the last week, stating my account is past due/collections and today that no response will result in fees & penalties. weirdest part is when I replied STOP I got anopther text saying I have been opted out from Empire Merchant Solutions, LLC. and it comes from a different number 303-973-6511.
Also full disclosure, I do not have any kind of outsanding bills/accounts. I know this for a full fact.

They are located in New York where all the other criminal outfits pretending to be debt collectors are.

I get texts using my first and last name from random number like this one 239-456-1228 saying I owe a medical debt and to call 866-675-1772 and to use a reference number they provided. I haven’t received any bills in the mail and I have paid all of mine that my insurance doesn’t cover. Sounds like a scam and I refuse to call back. When I block the number another one contacts me in a few days usually.

They keep sending me texts that I have an outstanding debt or medical bill. Total scam

Received multiple texts this week saying same as above.  Though they use say husband's name instead of mine!!  Once stopped, Opt Out says will no longer received texts from Empire Merchant Solutions, LLL.  Sounds Fishy to me!!!

3 days in a row I've gotten the same text from these idiots. Scammers, idiots! They say I owe money and to call a specific number yeah right they're calling me back from a different number they want me to contact ....... scammers

Here is the text of their text message to me minus any identifying information.

Firstname lastname, your account MBxxxxxxx is overdue. We need a response today or we must take further action. Call 866-675-1772. Reply STOP to opt-out.

They called me stating my husband had an outstanding balance from 2016, they stated they had put liens on our property and we had a court hearing coming up. He was rude and very disrespectful. My husbands does not anyone or anything.

Keep getting texts from this unknown number. With some random name on it saying they made several attempts to reach me and to contact them. I don’t answer them I just delete the message.

Just imagine what the miserable humans on the the other side of this # look like. Just keep blocking their numbers and NEVER engage these maggots.

Total scam bc. I don't have any unpaid medical or anything. So shady! These people need real jobs and leave us hard working people alone.
