866-682-2038

Automated call said that my Sterling Bank credit card was showing unusual activity and I needed to call them back, prepared to enter my credit card number and PIN.  I contacted Sterling Bank directly and they informed me that this was not a call from them.

Same thing just happened to me.

Just received it as well.  Scam.  Do not provide info.

at 2:39 pm CDT - Automated call does not now mention Sterling Bank, but otherwise the same as reported by other posters.

Also got a call from supposed Sterling Bank with unusual activity.  It happened Mon. afternoon.  I also live in Dallas.

Received same phone call Monday afternoon at my Dallas residency at approximately 1:15 pm.  Number given to call back was 866.682.2038; Caller ID, 866.585.2816.

Same message as above.  Got call this afternoon.  Live in Dallas.  Figured it was a scam, since I don't have a card or account with "Sterling Bank."

update - - Dallas - when I got home last night caller ID DID NOT match ph# given to call back (866-682-2038)-- Sterling Bank scam....

got the call from 866-585-2816 to call 866-682-2038 live in dallas
