Called yesterday and today. No message. Now Blocked

something about humana...asking me to call them and put some type of code in...sounds like a scam!

This seems to be a continuation of the numerous and dubious calls we have received in the past - (purportedly) from Humana, which coincidentally, is the provider of health insurance for my elderly parent.  The automated message that was left on the answering machine never revealed the true reason for the call; it directed my parent to call an 800 number and enter a pin (presumably an extension number) - similar to what was described in "Hank's" previous comment of 01/31/16.  Although neither of us intends to call back, I would not be surprised that it is yet another attempt by a third-party agent to schedule an unknown Physician to make a "house call" examination on behalf of Humana, as has been previously reported/discussed in other threads on this site.

I got a message from this Unknown Caller number claiming to be from Humana. They said they needed to contact me right away and if they didn't hear back they would call again. So I called the number back, several times, and they have a fancy sounding voice system that immediately tells you that they don't recognize the number you are calling from. So then the voice asks you to punch in a pin code. I had two I was given but neither one worked so the message went back to the beginning. At that point you can go round and round forever. I'm assuming it's a scam since Humana doesn't do this sort of thing and any calls from them say Humana and not Unknown Caller. I contacted Humana and reported the details.

Received a call from this number at about 4:15 today. I did not pick up, and there was no message. I do have Humana coverage, so I contacted them, but the response I got back from them was ambiguous. It read, in part: "...I can not confirm it is direct from Humana if you choose not to rely on this number that is fine." So I am blocking this number.

Called this am and left no message.  Now blocked

Got the call from this number.  Didn't answer and no message was left.  Probably exactly what Magic Schnauzer, above was talking about.  Matrix is the usual company that bothers folks about coming to your home for an house call examination.  They're pretty relentless and I have told them 'no thanks' but they keep calling...and I keep blocking.  This number is  a new one so since no message was left, I assume it's NOT Humana.

calls often no messages, appears to be humana but why not leave message  also appears to be calling from lincoln ,neb. and wichita ,kansas border ???

voice message say it was Humana. I returned call. it is ligit number. basically a survey.
