A man called and would not identify himself. Further research pointed to MRS Associates - a collection company.

I don't even answer.  But I still get charged 1 minute ($0.25) on my Cingular (AT&T) GO phone.  3 calls the w/in the last week.

I get a computer generated call, when you answer, you are asked to hold.  When I got a person, it is MRS Associates, a collection agency.  They were trying to reach the person that last had our phone number.

Every time they call your cell phone and cause you to incurr a cost that's a violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.  You just need to notify them that it's a cell phone and they can't call it.  Every time the do is another violation.  Let them violate it twice for every $1,000 you owe, and document it each time.  Then sue them for damages - they'll end up paying off your debt, and still owing you about what you now owe them.  Evil, but it works - and they deserve it.

I also get these calls!!! The MRS Associates insist that they need my name to take the number off the list but I wont give it to them. They are always looking for someone that I dont know!!!! And they wont stop! They call before 8am and after 9pm and all throughout the day. Half the time they hang up!

I get calls from 1-866-709-0903 at least 3 or 4 times a day.  I do not answer the phone because when I did in the past they want someone that does not live here.  I have asked them not to call but that does no good so I just don't answer the phone.  Thank goodness for caller ID.

I had a missed call and when I returned the call the lady asked for my number and name, then wanted to know my address.  When I asked what the company was and what it was regarding she refused to tell me so I hung up.

CALL THE COMPANY BACK LET THEM KNOW ITS A CELL PHONE, DONT BE AFRAID OF A COLLECTOR ITS OK TO CALL THEM BACK IN FACT CALLING BACK WILL HELP THE SITUATION THEN RUNNING FROM IT. AND NOBODY DESERVES ANYTHING.. PEOPLE GET CREDIT CARDS OVER CHARGE THEM, CANT PAY THEM BACK, CREDITORS TRY TO GET THAT MONEY BACK THAT IS THE ORIGINALLY CLIENTS SO DONT HATE THE CREDITORS WHO ARE TRYING TO GET MONEY BACK THAT YOU OWE, AND TALKING TO THEM WILL HELP OUT RUNNING IS NOT THE KEY. TAKE RESPONSIBILITES FOR YOUR ACTIONS, CRAP HAPPENS DEAL WITH IT.

I have called MRS Collections twice to tell them to stop calling me.  The person they are leaving nasty messages for is not me.  I have had this phone number for 30 years and even suggested they use reverse look up or whitepages.com to see that the phone is not listed to the person they want.  I am even tired of having my voice mail filled up with messages for someone else.  I do not owe any money to anyone and I am not that person.
