A text message said I should call to Bank of America.

I also received a text message saying to call Bank of America by 9pm ET.  When I called the number, it did not identify any relation to BofA, but was just a recording saying it was a conference call and to enter my password.  I just hung up.  I called BofA to let them know about this.

Same thing happened to me...

It is still happening-- the scary part was that I've been getting calls from unlisted number and finally yesterday they left a "very polite" message to ask me to call back-- 1-866-709-1116.  Even got my name correct I almost called!!  Today I got the text message saying the same thing-- call BOA by 9pm ET.... I became suspicious and googled the number and here I am.

This is a legit call.  They called left me message to call.  I did call back, did get a recording press 1 for English, however it only ask for my last 4 digits of social when I did speak to someone they did have all my loan information & it was correct.  No one ask me for any personal info they just wanted to know when I was making a payment

Why do they call me when they take the payment right out of my account!?  It all sounds a little fishy.  Especially when you go to the Bank of America website and this number is not listed as a contact number.

I find it amusing that there is a Google ad at the top of this page (at least there was when I was viewing it) for .....drum roll......Bank of America!!!
