automated asking to press 1 for live person

(Kitchener) Got a call twice. First time no one was there. Second time was 5 minutes later and it was the Sun paper with a promotion.

i also recieved this call on the 28th of september. no one was there. i have also recieved calls from a number 519-894-0084 trying to sell me newspapers... also the Sun....

I just received a call from 1-866-709-1329 but they hung up before I could answer.   If it is the Sun regarding promotions tell them to go rub salt on you know where.   If I was interested in ordering the SUN or whatever I could do this on my own without being pestered with these annoying phone calls.

Got this number on my phone today. called back and was given the option to enter my number to be removed from their calling list. I entered my phone number and was told it would be removed in 7 business days. I also get phone calls from 519-894-0084 and have requested that my number be removed from that list as well (same telemarketing Sun) Hopefully it works.

Me again, from Oct 6.  Just got another call, I answered, waited for 5 seconds, then hung up.

Called again today.  How do I get them to leave me alone?  They call like 2 times a day..

Got a call from this number to-day.no answer.they have called more than once other days.it is annoying how these people get away with these things.

hello i am located in toronto canada and for the past
4 months have been getting repeated calls from the following number.
I purchsed call display and find it strange that '1' for long distanceshows up on the local
416 number which i reside in.

These are the numbers that have been calling me repeatedly and either hanging up or fronting themselfs as
ROGERS cable, or some type of Windows/Doors company:

I have searched all these numbers and found all these phone nubmers are reportedly doing
the same thing to other people on the internet.

Research has indicated that there is some type of call center that calls people (such as us)
and once you pick up someone at their centre also picks up and trys to get some info or is
actually hired to sell a product /service. They seem to be doing  a poor job as many times
they hang up or dont speak, or get confused and just laugh then hangup.

This business/es need to be identified so that they can be stoped. I have gotten up to 6 calls a day
totalling 20-30 a week at random times of the day and evening. I've seen many posts on the internet
with people complaining and reporting online of this harassment but have yet to see anything done

WHATS THE NEXT STEP??

Probably TorontoVoice (google pages from Canada) and look at website
called "Page 1".
1-416-995-4308.  Ask to be removed from all affiliated companys or call
CRTC or Bell Canada and see if they will do on your behalf.

Please let the CRTC know all these phone numbers that they call you on.
If you keep them filled in it will help.  On the CRTC website, you can email the information to them.

Gotten calls from this number on my caller ID. Don't know who it is, and I never answer.
