Omg! Do not give these scammers any money! I received a call today that I owed a payday loan from 2012. Sum beach, I just was scammed three weeks ago and paid for a non-valid payday loan and now these people are calling. Warning!!! Do not let them scam you too! The only way any of these people will ever get money from me is by a court order! What the hey is going on in this world!

I got a call from a person claiming to be "Ted Browning" who is calling to inform me of a required notice.  The call comes in as restricted but then he asked me to call 866-709-1357 back.  He references the company as BRG.

I got the same exact call today. A person named Ted browning. I called back and someone else answered the phone. I told him I've never had a payday loan with econoline payday company. Googled econoline payday and can't find no such company. On the voice mail it said he needed my address to send some documentation. So on the phone conversation I explained I've never had no payday loan from econoline. And I would need the documents they were speaking of before I did anything. He pushed the fact I could settle over the phone I refused. He pushed further for me to handle it over the phone. Again I refused then he got mad and said " you want to miss out on the opportunity to settle this account right now" I said yes send me the documents with my information saying I owe this money. He then hung up and never asked for any address he said he "needed". This is a total scam and be smarter than they are. You don't owe anyone a dime that can't provide verification that you own the debt or validation they have the right to collect on it. Besides they also skipped over the part " this is a call to collect a debt speech every debt collector is required by law to tell you when they are communicating on the phone. SCAM SCAM SCAM

I got a call today on my cell and work phone from someone named Eric Horton and he was very rude and I hung up and they left me a threatening voicemail and I ncalled back and they said they were from a company called BRG calling about a payday loan I made in 2011 online that my bank refused.  I didn't do a payday loan and they asked me to settle over the phone. I said no and they said if I go to court they were suing me for fraud, court fees, etc and the amount could triple. They were rude and I told them to mail me the documentation and they started talking again and I hung up on them. This is a big SCAM. Oh yes, they call with a blocked number but they left a message with the toll free number.
