This number tried to get me to pay 400$ for a firewall for my computer. Do not call

These people are scammers!
A pop up window showed up on my MAC laptop saying I had a virus and it wouldn't let me go on the the next screen until I called that number. I called the number and a female with a strong Indian accent was on the other line saying I had a virus and had to buy a software that was about $200 for two years. She gained access to my computer and told me that people from different countries hacked my computer and that's how I got the virus. I told her that I'll take my computer to Apple and she saids they'll charge me $600 or $700 for this. I told her I won't be buying anything from them and asked for her name and employee ID. She said her name was Christine and gave me some bogus number. When I called back an Indian man picked up and I told him they were scammers and he kept hanging up the phone on me. When I called Apple they confirmed it was a scam! She noticed that they turned off my Firewall.

Did ur laptop hacked after talkinh with them?

Because the same exact thing happened to me a couple minutes ago and i also let her gain access to my mac and now im scared she is still hacking it.
So has there been anything wrong with yours or anyone who had the same ordeal???

Yep, that isn't Apple, and you have major problems.  Everything that is on that computer is being stolen.  Contacts, passwords, bank account info, credit card info, everything.  They are installing malware to monitor your every keystroke and also disabling your antivirus.  They will charge you an exhorbinent amount to do this.  You will have to now take that computer somewhere and have a real brick and mortar computer store repair and clean it.  You will need to change all those passwords, etc after the computer is cleaned.

How do I get this off?!? I don’t want to call them
