I am suppose to be taking some very expensive diabetes medication and havn't because of the cost and I have no Insurance. We'll they are advocates and are helping me as we speak get the medications from the pharmaceutical companies at a fraction of the cost. There are still good people in this world!!!

- Elspeth replies to Glen BurtonI wouldn't necessarily trust anyone who cold calls me. You can also apply for hardship (free or reduced cost) medicine from the actual pharmaceutical companies themselves. Just go to the website of the company which manufactures your medicine and apply there. I've done so before when I lost my insurance coverage and got free medicine for one year (you usually have to reapply every year, and your doctor has to fill out a form for you to send in).
