Call from AAA about an expired credit card number as membership was renewed. Seems suspicious (scam, maybe?) based on research conducted prior to post.

same message at 7:16pm Friday night... strange hours, too bad entering the number into Google just brings up a list of companies that want to charge you to find out who it belongs to, rather than having the info for free.  Anybody know how to find out?

Got call also from (supposedly) from AAA about expired credit card and needed to know about
expired date on card.......normally get a letter in mail about renewing....I hung up, no need to
transfer my call.....(to where?)

Call  from this number about expired credit card (AAA) which is already validated.  Expiration 3 years hence.
Scam?

It is AAA calling to renew your membership. I was skeptical at first since it was "unsolicited" so I went to their website and got a customer service phone number and I spoke with a live representative who confirmed that it was legit.
