Call was not from this exact number, but 866-723-3912 was mentioned in the message. Sarah from document delivery services. They had our name and said it was in reference to a document delivery to someone in the family who put our name down as a contact. Message said document would be delivered and referred to a case number and called themselves "the firm" but didn't identify. Not following up with that nonsense. What firm wouldn't identify themselves? Firms have their numbers online and aren't secretive like that.

I got pretty much the same call today a lady from an "Unidentified number" said she was from Document Delivery Services, and ask if I would be available to sign for a document tomorrow. I said no. She asked if I was expecting a document, I said no. She then said I should call 866-723-3912 and speak with them.  I suspect it is a Bill Collector trying to collect on a Zombie Debt, (one well past 7 years old) or a scam.

This company called my sisters land line number with the same message about a document that needed delivered. I returned their call from my work (I work for the government) and they tried to get me to verify my personal information.....um, I don’t think so!! Told him to mail me what he had and ended the call. Seemed pretty scammy to me

I received the exact same call the other posters received -word for word.  This is definitely a scam!! “This message is intended for [my name]. My name is Karen from document delivery services I'm calling you today in reference to a file that is scheduled to be delivered if you have any questions or concerns on what is scheduled to be received you must contact the firm and control of the file at 866-723-3912 please also _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ file number 71424101 unfortunately failure to respond may result in the firm proceeding without your consent thank you…”

I received the same call today from a Private Number. “This message is intended for (couldn't understand her). My name is (couldn't understand her) from document delivery services. I'm calling you today in reference to a file that is scheduled to be delivered. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the delivery to be received you must contact the firm in control of your file at 866-723-3912 and you must refer to file number 714366-01. Failure to respond may result in the firm proceeding without your consent. Thank you.” Sounds pretty suspicious to me.
