I received a call from (866)732-6154 the caller was a female and stated that she was from a brokerage company, I could not make out the name but it sounded like "Far...." when I tried contacting the telephone number back the background the voice message sounded as if someone was in a restroom (generic) I have atried several websites to attempt a telephone reverse look up but have had no luck.

I have received several calls from a femal who alleges to be a person by the name of Debbie Knox and states she is calling form what sounds like "Filmore Brokerage", I could be wrong.  Anyway, she claims I applied for a loan and she has good news.  I am going to check it out and I will re-post my findings.

I found out the company address is as follows:

It appears that they are listed with the Better Busines Bureau, they have an "F" rating.  This is probably due to the company's new listing and the fact they have not verified information about the company.  I will call next week and see what they are talking about.  I will keep everyone posted.

Fillmore Brokerage, Debbie Knox: This is a scam company. I personally have a claim against them and the police are trying to track them down.  They call and say they have great news, a loan for you, then request you send them money as a good faith payment.  They will fax you paperwork for the loan, get all your personal info, and you will never see a penny of the loan or any money you send them. The FTC, Better Business Bureau, Moneypack (this is the company whom Fillmore request you use to send them money) are all investigating.  DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!  IT IS A SCAM!!!!!

And, when you do talk to them, tell them to give me a call, I haven't gotten a return call from them in 2 weeks and I call them daily.

Please I am begging you not to send them any money. I sent them a thousand dollars just to get 7000 that I never received. It all seemed so real by the loan papers and then they wanted me to put the money on a paypak at walmart and they would also refund my 4.94 along with the 7000. The money down was to pay my first five payments because I had bad credit. This has been a month now and I have tried contacting the feds and did call the colchester detectives and the business doesnt exist at that address. The ladys name was Debbie Knox then there was Rhonda and then Lisa and the Amanda in which all was the same person. I did talk to so called Rhonda last week and she said she sent me a refund in the mail by a cashiers check on tuesday and then this week she said it was sent out on thursday and I have yet to see it. They have changed their website and answering system. They want your name first so they have not answered my phone calls in 2 days now.

After The fact of me sending them the money I decided to call the better business bureau and they are not listed and never has been. After I found that out I called Debbie Knox and she said they havent been with the better business bureau for 11 years. LOL I wonder why

I am sorry you are going through the same thing I am and I have tried to get the feds to look into this because it is interstate fraud. I really hope something is done. When I called green dot they said the money I sent was sent into an account in Bardsville Ky in the name of Melody Pogue. I did look her up and she said that they must have an account in her name but I dont know. She did not sound like the women I talked to which all sounded alike. Good Luck

So sorry you are going through this to. Times are really tough, and I am financially desperate which is why I was trying to get  loan.  People like this who pray on others are despicable.  Moneypack is still investigating to see where mine went. I call several times a day, with no answer off course most of the time, but I did figure out if you dial 100 when the initial voice recording comes on, you can get through to someone, but I have to call several times back to back to get them to answer. I have also turned them into the Federal Trade Commission, who has opened an investigation, and has already responded to me that this is a fraudulent company. I have changed my bank account info, and reported it to the police. The Better Business Bureau said they do not exist, and it is illegal for them to request money upfront. They are looking for them also. They Colchester police said they are not nor have they ever been in there city at the address given. My email address is nursemix@yahoo.com. And, I have been waiting 2 weeks now for my "refund" from them also, I'm sure I will never see it...

I did get this reported to the FBI as well, I also listed this website as a site of other victims. Hope they catch these people! I won't stop until they do!!

i have also been a victim of "fillmore brokerage" a lady debbie knox called me teeling me good news that i have been approved for $5000. at first i wzsnt going to even think twice about it but me and my sister were in a bad state so we went for it. we thought it was legit but didnt realize it was a scam until after we sent them $1300 and spoke with federal reserve because they said that our money couldnt be transferred because they were holding it from the lenders account. that 1300 was our first 4months payment and a security deposit. i asked for a refund, they said they sent it on this past friday but i havent received anything, and now their number is disconnected. so if anyone can help i will be greatly appreciated because now i have no money and no income. email Janecia.Booker@yahoo.com

Like I said they said my money was added onto  a card in Bardsville Ky in the name of Melody Pogue. They could have a card in our names scamming people you never know, I hate it because they have our address and all. I have all my paper work even the 7000 money order picture that was suppose to be put in my account. I took it to Bank of america and they said the cashiers check was a good one but they couldnt tell me anything else. Now all you get is a busy signal when you call them. My refund was sent out two wednesdays ago and then thursday and then friday, Whatever we will never see our money. I did turn it over to the feds because it is interstate fraud as well. Did you send your money paypak or green dot whatever it is? Call them and also report it as I did.

I am so sorry you are going through this as well. I see when you call them now all you get is a busy signal. Ive been sending them messages through he email they sent all ny documents. I first went through a Debbie Knox and then after I wanted my mone back it went to a Rhonda and then a lisa. They were all the same person. Hopefully soon we will hear about them and hopefully tey will get caught. zTo tell you thetruth I think they are not in our country which makes it worse. Debbie Knox called me about two months ago with the same scam about a loan, I sent them $1900 and haven't seen a dime since. Last Friday I finally got thru and threatened her with getting an attorney ever since then there phone has been disconnected. I called money pack yest, after seeing this site. Hello. I admit that I must be stupid, but I was also desperate - my husband and I were facing eviction, and I was trying to do my best to get money together to avoid that. I was trying to apply for payday loans, since my credit was bad and wouldn't be approved for regular loans. In the time I was trying for these loans, I was contacted by several different "firms" that offered the same thing - bad credit loans, with the first few months up front. The first company, Amsterdam World Financial, was going to give me $5,000, after giving a down payment of almost $1200. When they said that I needed to give additional money for insurance, I said that I wanted a refund, but never could get a hold of them. In the middle of this, I was contacted by a second company, Fillmore Brokerage. They assured me that I could get a loan for $7,500, which would be perfect. I had given them almost $1,000, when they contacted me and said that, "due to a scam internally, the lender wanted the insurance purchased" which I could not afford. They assured me that I would have a refund, and they would rush it with the fee waived, and I would have received it by the beginning of last week. Needless to say, I have yet to receive my funds. When I was speaking with them about the refund, I had gone to the location of the first "lender" (in Pennsylvania) and found out that not only was the company there NOT them, they had never heard of them. To date, I have yet to be able to get a hold of either company. I was contacted by a third company, that was "upset" about the first situation, and promised to refund me the money I sent, as long as I included the original paperwork with my loan documents. I didn't worry about the second company, since I was under the impression that my refund would be arriving shortly. I was supposed to have received the funds on Friday, but my account is still not showing it (after giving them almost $2,000). If I don't get a hold of anyone on Monday, I will be contacting a lawyer about all three. If anyone has any additional information, I would greatly appreciate. I also sent money to fillmore brokerage,for a home loan,WHAT A JOKE,it has been 5 weeks still waiting on my refund!!!! Except she said her name was Jessica Summers.Someone needs to get these people locked up SOON,before they scam more hard working people.
