Someone called today from this number looking for my son (he's an adult). They said their company name was Account Verification Services and gave me a reference number. I've Googled the company name and number and have come up with nothing relevant.

Received after hours VM from someone having “important information”, and I needed to call the above # and give case # or there would be adverse action. They used my informal name, not my legal name. Seemed odd. Called number and got VM for “Parkland”. All very suspicious, and sounds like a scam.

A woman who doesn't give her personal name but says she's with AVS has called my husband and I today, as well as yesterday, looking for my husband's step-mother. They said today is the last day to contact them before adverse action is taken and also giving a case/reference number.

VM just said need to get a hold of them. Np explanation. Said I need to get back before adverse action.

They call me three times when I wouldn't answer , the calls were made to my sister telling her that needed to call them back.

This number calls multiple times a day but this morning was the first time they left a message and it was for my sister. Supposedly they have documents for her and are sending officials to her house.

I got a call from 9093236041 asking for me to contact them back at 866-740-0594 with a case number and that they couldn't find me and that I needed to be home to sign off a delivery. My phone read it as SCAM and sure enough, I see people getting the same calls. Left the numbers just in case anyone has or recives a call from these numbers.
