Called business. I didn't pick up but they stayed on the line until way past the electronic greeting. They must have selected an extension, because the line light changed on my switchboard, but they did not leave a voice mail message.

Called my photo studio, I didnt answer. Anyone know who this is?

Received a call today from this number, claiming they were American Express and wanted to confirm my new merchant account.  However, the rep asked me to give him my merchant number for verification.  Of course, I didn't give this out -- it would be the same as giving out your credit card number to someone who called me.

Left a voicemail saying they were from American Express and that it was critical that they run some kind of test and that we call them back at 888-398-4443. I called them at the same time looking up the numbers here and promptly hung up when I realized it was a scam, just after they answered. Direct line, didn't get a phone menu which was suspicious as well.

I just set up Merchant services and an online store. Our Toll free number has only been on the web a month. I get hang up calls from this number. They select an extension but hang up after 3 rings.

Called my office & left a message from a David Hyde to please call back.
I checked the number here and didn't bother.

Got a call from this number today. The guy was a jerk, asking for owner, I told him the owner is not here. I hung up they called back... Beware of these people.

Guess what, this is old news.. it is a telemarketer with AMEX. AMEX will not assist you directly. Instead you must call a DNC list removal number 1-877-366-6737 provided by AMEX (legit). This will remove you from the AMEX telemarketing list. No worries.
