Wtf... who is this?

I called this number back. It appears to be a telemarketing company that called on behalf of a local car company for Nissan. They claim I requested information and they were returning my call - which is untrue. I believe my contact information was obtain through an online requested for a car quote, which I filled out through the Ford website. On this site you can have the local Ford dealership call you back with this quote. I've learned that the owner of this dealership also owns others, which include the Nissan one.

I can't call the number back, but Ford hasn't been leaving me alone since I made the mistake of filling out an online quote request from the ford.ca website.

It makes sense, i also filled car quote request on Ford.ca, 440 Ford Laval and Chartrand Ford Laval...

pour moi c'est pareil, j'ai rempli un formulaire en ligne.. mais que faire pour cesser cette [***] ?? Quelqu'un sait comment ca fonctionne.

Même chose pour moi, j'ai rempli une demande  en ligne pour un véhicule ford et j'ai reçu cet appel une semaine plus tard. Une personne immigrante me posait des questions, comme si j'avais un véhicule à vendre mais je ne comprennais pratiquement rien à ce quelle me demandais. Je lui faisais répéter et ensuite j'ai dis que je ne savais pas, alors elle a dit merci et racroché.

I'm shopping for cars, and don't specifically remember filling out a form on FORD's website, but I WAS at one of their dealerships and they took my info.

Well, looks like I won't be buying a FORD. If they harass people like that... they don't deserve my business.

I want no calls from Ford. Mayor Rob, Brother Doug, or otherwise. Shame on them. They should leave office immediately and forever beg for forgiveness from the entire country. Apologize immediately personally to every single person who lives in this wonderful land of ours.
