Identifies themselves to be Altel, says there is a change to your service and asks for a response using a message code that they give you. Altel denies leaving the message and advised not giving any personal info.

Got a call on the home phone, asking for my mother with a code. Glad I took the time to look this up!

I was getting a lot of recorded phone calls from Alltel letting me know I could pay my bill on line
and to call their #. There was no reason for my getting this message and I was told to disregard.
Then I started getting the recorded message from 866-765-4803 most every day for a John ?
to call re his acct with the message code. This has been going on for over a week... daily. Happy
I decided to check on the number!

Called my home phone this morning. They said I owed 76 dollars on my bill and we could pay over the phone, and if I didn't, I would have my service shut off tomorrow!  I called the alltel in my hometown to look up my balance later and they said I didn't owe one! I'm glad I looked up the number and called Alltel!

Thugs. I get automated calls that a certain juan has "to contact this number". (It's another number calling, by the way)
Supposedly alltell, but looks more like scammers.

Call came up on my caller I.D. box every day last week until I finally answered it on Sat. Said I had outstanding balance on my Alltel account which I knew couldn't be correct as I check this online frequently and had just received my next month's bill showing what I owed and no outstanding balance. The only option it gave me was 'press 1' to make payment now. I just assumed they were wanting to get my credit card number. I do not trust even paying my bills online. If this is a scam, it needs to be stopped.

I received the exact same type of automated call the last week.  When it asks for my zip code it says that it is incorrect, and repeats the request for the zip code.  Finally it says that is incorrect and hangs up!

I got calls from 800-672-2051, I called Altell and told them to take me off their list.  They did.  A week later I started getting the same annoying messages but now from 866-765-4803.  This has to stop.  How can I take legal action?

I have so had it with the calls from Alltel 866-765-4803!  I finally found a number with a live person, who removed me from there list.  (We'll see tomorrow....)  Call 1-800-672-2051 when prompted for phone number say "operator".

Leaves message to call 1-866-765-4803 enter code 724645 says I owe $73.28 and should make payment on line. Called Altell and they say they know nothing about this and there is not any bill owed. This is a scam to get money, do not fall for this one. They have been calling my parents house twice a day for over two weeks and no let up.
