nelson homescan panel... is what they said in the message

They have been calling me now for over a month. Apparently, I responded to a survey on the net (a legitimate one) and that's how they got my number.  Anyway, they were leaving messages on my cell going through their whole pitch, which they said was completely voluntary, saying that in response to my recent request they were going to send me a handheld scanner that I can use when I go shopping to record all of my purchases. However, recently, they have not been leaving messages. I purposely gave them my cell number, because I don't answer it unless I know who the caller is and if they don't leave messages, then I don't really need to talk to them. I figure its their dime anyway.

Best advice, don't get involved with online surveys, if you do, do not give a real number. Find the number of your local police dept or AG's office and use that one.
