Got a call from this number and they promise to sell my car for $404. --declaring they have 16
prequalified buyers and it is no problem to sell.  Money will go to bank directly.  Have feeling this is a scam and "like a fool" gave them my credit card number

It's basically a scam.  They have multiple equipment listing Web sites.  Their telemarketers _all_ commit wire fraud as a matter of daily business.  I was contacted some time back after I had listed my 1965 Failing 1250 drilling rig on a legitimate site:  http://www.equipfind.com/drill-rigs/1965Failing1250.htm The woman working with Terrance promised she had 4 buyers already lined up, but the equipment had to be entered into their system which posted it on the Web site to get a lot number so their people could arrange financing and what-not.  Sale was guaranteed.  It was going to take her longer to get the stuff entered than it was to close this deal.  Even if that deal didn't close, my equipment would be "listed until it sold" on their Web sites.  I was told their guarantee was so strong that if the rig didn't sell after several months, they would buy it themselves and send it to a rig rebuilder because reconditioned and with fresh paint that rig wouldn't last a week on the site.

Well, my $400 came and went.  My drilling rig was on there site for a couple of years, but mysteriously vanished from it and now I cannot even remember the names of the sites they had.

As to the "testimonials", I would take them with a bag of salt.  They "might" be legitimate, but, I'm doubtful.  Then again, when you get over 1000 pieces of equipment listed on a Web site, eventually, even a blind squirrel can find a walnut if you drop them off in a walnut grove.
