THIS NUMBER CALLED MY BROTHER LOOKING FOR ME DID NOT WANTED TO IDENTIFY WHO THEY WERE OR WHAT COMPANY THEY WERE WITH AND MADE THREATS AGAINST ME.  THEY SAID THEY WERE WITH HARRIS COUNTY DISTRICT AND MADE THREATS THAT THEY ARE TAKING ME TO COURT AND THAT THERE IS A COMPLAINT AGAINST ME AND NEED TO CANTACT ME.

The caller – whoever it was – committed at least three illegal acts in the scenario you describe. Unfortunately, they're probably scammers in some far-off country where law enforcement will never get them. But on the bright side, all you need to do is ignore them. (You can laugh at them too, but that's optional.)

They call themselves "The National", an independent private contractor working alongside with the law enforcement.  In this particular incident, I got a call from them thee times in the last week.  Kimberly Benedict with the Santa Clara County Superior Court was trying to reach some guy "file a formal complaints against this individual regarding several different matters reference #CR429910." Not sure if they're legit but don't want to mess with these guys coming off as doing public service but doing some covert, cloak and dagger stuff.
