Called and left a message at my work.. Jessica Thomas.  Said needed to verify my address for a fax delivery.  I smell scam.

This IS a scam... They claim to be "trying to help you out" by avoiding courts and paying them for a payday loan you never took out. After I explicitly told them that I never had a bank account with the one they say this loan was deposited into, they went on to say this was within the "statute of limitations" from 2010. Totally ignored what I said to them about it not being mine or my bank account. I never had an account where they were saying, never took out a payday loan, and certainly don't know the company they're saying I did this with. The first guy I talked to was "polite." Then I was transferred to a second man, "Dave" that was fast talking, condescending and rude. He didn't care that this was not my loan or debt. He swore at me, berated me and was an absolute jerk, when all I asked for was to have the documentation sent to my home address. That way my attorney and I could look it over and open a case with the police for ID Theft.

Never give them any information, confirm any information... nothing. If they think they have one correct piece of info on you, they'll keep digging to steal your ID or cause you more trouble. These jerks need wiped out!
