    I did answer and it was a call for someone offering a trial membership to the ABA (American Bar Association).  This was at my law office.

    I did not answer the call, but given what KLB reported, I have to assume it was for the same kind of offer.  I am also a lawyer, and the call was made to my law office.  BTW, if the caller reads this, DON'T CALL AGAIN!!!  I don't need the ABA, and it offers me NOTHING other than a bill.

    It is the ABA.  If you call back that number, they will allegedly put you on their do not call list, at your request.  (Incidentally, business-to-business calls are exempt from the National Do Not Call registry, they say?)
