I do not even see the prefix but call ID is Toll Free Call.

They keep calling and do not leave a message.

Keeps calling, won't leave message. Called number back from a different phone and after about a minute of a recording repeatedly saying that it didn't recognize the number I was calling from and to enter the number that it originally called then it finally said to call back with the number that was associated with my account at the gas company then cut me off. Caller ID 866-804-1396, Name "Not Provided" Sounds like a scam to me!

This is from the gas company calling about a no cost energy saving home improvement program that can save energy and money for home owners and renters.   I suspected it may be the gas company from reading another call report listed here.  Rather than calling THIS number, I called the customer service number on my statement and asked them about this number;  THEY claimed to not have this number on their database at all.  Also if you call the number back from another phone (a pay phone, for instance to protect your identity from sophisticated caller ID equipment they may have on their end) you get a recording saying they dont recognize the phone number/ not associated with your account, all without identifying who they are.  Ifyou keep pressing "0" to hopefully get an operator, it will finally mention the gas company then cut you off.   I finally found out what these calls were about when they finally left an automated message on my voice mail (after mulitple calls w/o leaving a message). Sounds like a 3rd party telemarketing scam to me.

I sleep during the day and I'm sick of these people waking me up at all hours.

Miserable telemarketers pretending to be from the gas company.  A pox on them all.

Rec'd two calls from (866)804-1396 - VM says they're from "the gas company" offering to tell me how to save on energy bills.  I seriously doubt this is THEE Gas Company that provides my utility each month.  I did not call back.

... two calls within 24 hours, I let the machine get it. No message, no information on any of my caller IDs, they've wised up considerably. My next stop, the national do not call registry, <donotcall.org>, to report them for skirting telemarketing laws -- asj.

shady. shady. shady not even a valid number stupid people doing stupid things.......LOL-HA-HA-HA i love stupid people........

Whenever I get a call from this number, I get an answering machine message that says, "This is..." and then it cuts off. I might actually answer at one time to see what they say, because I am on the do not call list.
