Name that showed up said Unknown but they left a message.  She said her name is Betty/Debbie Thompson and that she needed to speak with me about unconsolidated credit and repayment options. She said due to a new rules and all that stuff. That's actually the number she gave and a reference number for the exact situation or problem that makes it easier for her to reference. Didn't call back and I'm going to wait to see if she calls back again.

I received the same call with a reference #  also. So did both of my kids from same person Debbie Thompson. Reference #80608. Just posting it so you can cross check to see if your number was the same as mine. If it is, I would assume it's a scam.

They called my whole family with same reference # 80608. I am assuming scam if you received the same reference # .

Hi, I also received the same call a few minutes ago.  Betty Thompson calling from 866-804-2220.  Same reference #80608.  Doesn't reveal who she works for, though obviously it's a scammer.  Strange how they didn't even bother to change the reference # but are using the same number over and over again.

Also, the script was the same word-for-word as you mention, a need to discuss "unconsolidated credit and repayment options due to a new rules."

Received a call from 000-000-0000 that said Scam Likely as the caller lol. VM left says it's Betty Thompson with the exact message as everyone else and to call 866-804-2220 with reference #80608 but never bothered to list a company.
I have no idea why I am getting so many constant calls from scammers but it has been in full force the last 2 months. Annoying.
